Mommy’s Waiting Room
Why is it so dark in here?
Why is it so difficult to hear?
I can’t really see much
Are there other things in here to touch?
Mommy thanks for the warm tub
But I think you forgot to give me a scrub.
Mommy are you talking to me?
Mommy are you thinking of me?
God told me I need to keep waiting
So I spend my time dancing and gyrating.
But I really really really want to leave
For a whole host of reasons you wouldn’t believe
But there is really one big reason
And it won’t even matter which season
Because I want to leave to tell you a little secret
But it won’t change given a year, month or week but
I wanted you to know today
That starting on from this Mother’s Day
That I will tell you I love you with all my heart and soul
And now that I am on a roll,
That Jesus told me before I left heaven for earth
That He was giving me a one of a kind birth
With a Mommy that will dance, smile, and love me dear
A Mommy who will always listen and want to hear
A Mommy who will give me unconditional love
Who will get me all sorts of sparkling dresses, hats and gloves
So even though you may find out slow.
You are going to be the best Mommy the world will ever know.
I am already so excited and blessed
So I will keep waiting and getting my rest
Happy Mother’s Day and you will have to wait and see
For me to tell you how important you are to me.
